What are cookies?

クッキー are small text files that a website stores on your device. They help sites remember information about your visit - like whether you're signed in, your language preference, or which features you've already used.

The same goes for similar technologies (local storage, IndexedDB, pixels). For simplicity we call all of them "cookies" in this policy.

How we use cookies

We try to keep our cookie use minimal and free of advertising trackers. We use cookies for three reasons only:

• Authentication - keeping you signed in across pages
• Preferences - remembering small UI choices like dismissed banners or table column widths
• Privacy-friendly analytics - counting page views in aggregate, no individual visitor profiling, no cross-site tracking

We do not set advertising cookies, retargeting pixels, or behavioural-tracking trackers on this marketing site.

Types of cookies we set

Strictly necessary

• ls_session - your authenticated session. Expires when you sign out or after 30 days of inactivity.
• ls_csrf - CSRF protection for form submissions. Expires when the tab closes.
• ls_consent - remembers your cookie choice so we don't ask again. Expires after 12 months.

Functional

• ls_pref - small UI preferences (dark mode, dismissed tooltips). Expires after 12 months.

Analytics (optional)

• Plausible - privacy-friendly, cookie-free analytics. No personal data, no cross-site tracking. Plausible is hosted in the EU and is GDPR準拠 by default.

Third-party cookies

The only third parties whose cookies you may encounter on Livescraper are:

• Stripe - only on the billing page, when you're entering payment details. Used by Stripe for fraud prevention.
• YouTube - only when you click play on an embedded demo video. We use the privacy-enhanced (youtube-nocookie.com) embed to minimise tracking.

We are not responsible for third-party cookie practices; please check Stripe's and YouTube's own policies for details.

Your choices

You can manage cookies through your browser settings - most browsers allow you to view, delete or block cookies on a per-site basis. Note that blocking strictly-necessary cookies will prevent you from staying signed in.

You can opt out of analytics at any time using the toggle in your account settings, or by enabling "Do Not Track" in your browser. Plausible respects DNT by default.

Updates to this policy

We may revise this policy if our cookie use changes. We'll always update the "Last updated" date at the top, and announce material changes by email and a banner.
